HF Rubber Machinery, Inc. (formerly ThyssenKrupp Rubber Machinery, Inc.) has simply changed its name. We are the same folks from Topeka and Akron.

New owner for Elastomertechnik GmbH

Possehl takes over market leader in tyre production equipment from ThyssenKrupp. The Lübeck company of L. Possehl & Co. mbH is acquiring from ThyssenKrupp 100 % of the shareholding of Elastomertechnik GmbH based in Hamburg-Harburg. The takeover comes into commercial effect from 1st October 2004.

ThyssenKrupp Elastomertechnik GmbH manufactures, installs and services machinery and equipment for the rubber-processing industry, especially rubber-mixing systems, extruders, tyre-making machines and tyre curing presses. The product range also includes machinery and equipment for the production and refining of edible oils and worm-gear extruders for the drying of synthetic rubber.

With around 1,050 employees, the company achieved sales last year of approx. € 150million. The company operates production locations in Hamburg-Harburg, Freudenberg, Belišce/Croatia and Topeka/USA.
