Therefore, our service starts with competent, objective advice long before a purchase is made. Afterwards we guarantee a reliable after-sales service and the supply of authentic spare parts for decades. Highly qualified experts in the fields of mechanics, hydraulics, electrical engineering, and software serve our customer on location for start-up, maintenance, and installation.
We work up modernization concepts for individual machines or complete facilities to attain the following goals: increased reliability and availability, optimized processes and profit as well as improved quality.
In order to find innovative solutions and to optimize existing flows, our research and development department works with the customers to carry out laboratory experiments, giving them the opportunity to test our machines before buying, try out their own recipes under operating conditions and optimize their mixing operations through trials.
For this we have different mixing capabilites in our technical department including a GK4N, GK 5E and a GK 45E. This means we are able to start in lab scale to find the optimal process for a special recipe and then we can transform the results to larger machines in our 'Small production unit' area. Such a procedure ensures reliable results for the customer which are reproducible on bigger machines as well.
Naturally all the necessary testing equipment is available to ensure the resulting compound quality, is of the required level.
Traditionally, we take research and development very seriously (in Germany, our R&D budget is approx. 4-5% of turnover and involves around 35 people). After extensive tests with varying designs, we were the world’s first producer of internal mixers to face up to the fact that order specifications and operating conditions are the decisive criteria in determining the best kind of mixer for the job. That’s why we developed both tangential and intermeshing rotor types with patented geometries. Also at present, we are involved in several European research projects. Futhermore, there are smaller research projects with well known Universities under way.
Our long-term work and experience has led to an unrivalled technological know-how. This advantage is the basis for the outstanding quality for our machinery and the full reliability for our service.
